Assembling an electronic circuit: making a small synthetizer

The workshop offers participants the opportunity to become familiar with the world of electronics. Through a step-by-step course they will be introduced to the basic notions of circuit bending, up to the actual realization of a fully working circuit and of a basic sound synthesizer.

This workshop was made as part of Expozoone, a contemporary art project in the frame of Musical Zoo Festival that will take place at Castello di Brescia from July 19th to July 22nd 2012.


Bio: Antonio Cavadini aka Tonylight, born in Brescia, lives and works in Milano. Artist, circuit bender and musician, he has been fascinated by 8bit music and hardware electronics since the beginning. Together with Giovanni Membretti, he is a member of L.E.P. (laboratorio elettronico popolare) wich realized the analogic synth LepLoop.
