Refresh 01 – #LAYERS
REFRESH is an exhibition series that wants to research Italian contemporary art and offer an update on practices that confront with the issues, languages and forms emerged with the digital turn of the last twenty years. The title of the series hints to the freshness of languages and to the wish to offer an update on recent artistic developments. The project consists of a series of mid-scale exhibitions, organized in temporary spaces with the involvement of different curators, in order to offer a full, detailed view on the contemporary Italian art scene.

REFRESH è un progetto d’indagine e aggiornamento in progress sull’arte contemporanea italiana che si confronta con i temi, i linguaggi, le forme emerse nel corso della svolta digitale che ha connotato gli ultimi vent’anni. Il titolo del ciclo allude alla freschezza dei linguaggi e alla volontà di fornire un aggiornamento sugli sviluppi dell’arte. Il progetto prende la forma di un ciclo di mostre di medie dimensioni, collocabili in spazi e con l’intervento di curatori diversi, che possano offrire una visuale il più completa ed eterogenea possibile.
