VADA01: Proxy Lovers out now with Link Editions

The Link Art Center is proud to announce the publication of Proxy Lovers, the first issue of a series of books realized in collaboration with the Master in Visual Arts for the Digital Age, Istituto Europeo di Design (IED), Milan. The book – 104 color pages, Italian only – is available as a print on demand paperback and a free download PDF.

 

Born as a project for the ”Communication Lab” class of the Master, Proxy Lovers is an exhibition in the shape of a book, featuring Italian artists and curated by the Master’s students under the advice of Fabio Paris, Domenico Quaranta and Valentino Catricalà. Flavia Azzi, Giorgio Bertinelli, Attilio Bovi, Beatrice Colombo, Giorgia Risso, Donato Tranquillino Minerva, Marta Valpiana, Zizhuo Zhang each selected two artists; and through studio visits and interviews, they got into their work and devised an editorial presentation of the works of AOS / Art is Open Source, Mara Oscar Cassiani, Federica Di Carlo, Giovanni Fredi, Kensuke Koike, Rachele Maistrello, Simone Monsi, None Collective, Elisa Giardina Papa, Donato Piccolo, Antonio Pipolo, Roberto Pugliese, Quayola, Alessandro Sciaraffa, Natalia Trejbalova, and Matteo Zamagni.
