Cyphoria, curated by Domenico Quaranta for Q’16, opens today!

The Link Art Center is proud to announce that Domenico Quaranta, our Artistic Director, is one of the curators of Altri tempi, altri miti, the main show of the 16th Art Quadriennale. The exhibition opens today, October 12, 2016 at Palazzo delle Esposizioni, Roma; and will be on view until January 8, 2017. Best  wishes, Domenico! 

 

 

We live in an era infused with mediation, which has found its way into every aspect of life, experience, imagination and story-telling. Politics, the economy, work, forms of communication and society, but also intimacy and dreams have been overturned by the impact of digital media. Issues such as privacy, surveillance and the capitalization of social life define an important part of what we call the present. Cyphoria, Quaranta’s contribution to the 16th Art Quadriennale, raises these questions and investigates how they are reflected in Italian contemporary art.
